A dyno isn’t just for measuring horsepower and torque. We use top of the range systems and can write custom fuel maps for fuel injected bikes.
Mot modern fuel injected bikes can be jerky at low throttle. A custom fuel map can cure the on-off feel to the throttle, as well as producing more power and torque.
We also use the dyno to cut down times when diagnosing faults, which keeps your bills lower. 15 minutes on the dyno can usually ell you more than 2 hours stripping the bike to pieces.
What is a Power Commander?
The Power Commander is an extremely flexible electronic unit which we can use to alter your bikes fuelling. You can get maps on CDs or over the internet, but they are no where near as good as a custom fuel map, which we tailor to your individual bike. Maps can usually be written while you wait, and smoothness, power and response all improve as a result.
What is a dynojet kit?
Basically it’s a carb re-calibration kit which is designed to increase the response and power of the engine. For improved results, many owners fit Pipercross air filters and Nology silver cored spark plugs, but its not just sport rider can benefit. You can also achieve better fuel economy.
How does a dynojet kit work?
Fitting different air filters or exhausts will upset the carburetion, and can cause the engine to run lean. A new exhaust and filter may have a free flowing nature, and this means there may not be enough fuel reaching the engine. This could result in component failure (exhaust valves burning out or holing pistons), jerky running and loss of power. Fitting a dynojet kit and setting it up solves these issues. There are several stages available. Stage 1 being for low modifications (tailpipe and air filter), Stage 3 for the more seriously tuned engine (full system, and head work) and up to Stage 7 for race applications

This is done to increase to flow of gases through the cylinder head. The level of tune carried out depends on where the power gains are required. Contact us for further requirements. Any cylinder head tuning will include a top end refresh if ACR refit the head.
